Synopsis
In Colonial Rhode Island, fiery, red- haired Fanny Campbell is a crack shot, a fearless sailor and an expert with broadswords and daggers.
Fanny Campbell is a fiery 18-year-old farm girl in the mid 1700s, Rhode Island, where everyone in her village is sure she will be an old maid...until a wild storm blows Will, a naval officer, into her life. Immediately attracted by her fierce independence and strength, they fall in love and marry. Then Will's ship puts back out to sea.
Learning Will's ship has been captured and that he is imprisoned in Cuba, Fanny disguises herself as a man and goes to sea to rescue him and winds up captured herself ...by pirates. Her choice? Die or be press-ganged onto the crew of the Bloody Rose. Thus begins Fanny's epic adventure as an accidental pirate.
